GET LOST IN BEAUTY Enchanting & Mystifying History

After an incredible two days in Prague, the heart of Europe, visit the most popular city in Bohemia, Český Krumlov. The quaint and peaceful city is the perfect example of a place frozen in time, with small, narrow, winding streets stretching across the peninsula that forms the central part of town, all of it directly below the looming castle high above on a rocky cliff. Spend each night in Prague and Český Krumlov in a 4-star hotel, indulge in several traditional meals along the way, plus a wine or beer tasting one day and a coffee and pastry snack stop another day.

    • Check into your hotel or accommodation.
    • Wander the streets through Old Town and New Town, discovering the centuries building, underground pubs, Jewish Quarters and expansive plazas.
    • If you are interested in a guided tour of some of these locations, we offer daily tours so that you can learn about the history you are lucky enough to be walking past.
    • Take a break during the afternoon for a stop at one of the oldest and longest running cafes in Prague, which represents the pinnacle of Prague's society. Enjoy a delicious coffee of your choosing and a local pastry.
    • Enjoy a dinner at one of the top rated Czech restaurants in Prague.
Day 2

Classic Prague with a Local

    • Your local guide will be waiting for you at the entrance to your hotel or accommodation.
    • Get to know your local guide on board Tram 41, a historical tram dating back 100 years. The decorative carriage and bright red color make for a stylish ride as you pass some of the most iconic sights in Prague.
    • Follow your local guide as s/he takes you through a classical Czech neighborhood, off the beaten path and away from the tourists to show you something unique about Prague that you can’t find in any tour book.
    • Enjoy lunch at your local guide’s favorite neighborhood restaurant, full of flavor, empty of tourists.
    • Tasting (beer or wine). What’s a trip to the Czech Republic without indulging in a Czech Pilsner or a Moravian white wine? Stop off at a local pivovar or vinara to try some of the local drinks.
    • Highlight of the tour: drop by the house of a local citizen and spend some time learning about life during the communist regime. You’ll be able to ask any questions you might have about how it was to life, work and raise a family during this time period.
    • Drop-off at your hotel or accommodation with recommendations for dinner.
Day 3

Český Krumlov

    • Get picked up at your hotel by your English-speaking driver.
    • Enjoy a delightful drive from Prague to Český Krumlov, during which you'll pass from Central to South Bohemia, see expansive fields and small villages.
    • Your driver will leave you to check in at your 4-star hotel in Český Krumlov.
    • Enjoy a delicious traditional Czech lunch at one of the top restaurants in the city.
    • You'll be met by your English speaking guide after lunch.
    • Go on a walking tour of the 13th century castle that sits high above the city, seeming to have grown out of the rocks on which it stands.
    • If you dare, climb the castle's tower to get an even more impressive view of the whole entire town.
    • Spend the remaining time in the evening getting lost in the quiet streets, enjoy the many artisans shops where you're sure to find exquisite gifts to take home with you.
Day 4

Český Krumlov to Prague

    • After breakfast and check-out, your driver will accompany you back to Prague and the airport or destination of your choosing.

I have always wanted to visit Prague and Cesky Krumlov and this trip was everything I was hoping for and more. We got to see so much of Prague in just a short time and then got to relax in Cesky Krumlov for a night, which was perfect. There were the options for a one day trip, but staying the night there was really what made this trip complete since it is the sweetest little town (they say city but it's more like a large village). All of the meals that came included were delicious and unique; we wouldn't have known what to order so the recommendations were great.
