Our family only had a few days in the Czech Republic but we also wanted to see something besides Prague and we were really glad that we did. Our kids absolutely loved the Sedlec Ossuary and my husband and I enjoyed the guided tour through Kutna Hora, learning about the long history of silver mining in this area. And one of my favorite parts was going to the St. Barbara Cathedral. I had no idea there was a saint or a cathedral with the same name as mine. The stories our guide told us were incredible and made history fun for the whole family. Our day with a local guide in Prague was also incredible as we go to meet a local woman who could tell us her story about life during the communist regime. I had so many questions and she answered all of them. This was such a unique concept that I hadn't seen before. I think it was really good for our kids to learn about this.
