Day 1

Welcome To Prague

    • Arrive at Václav Havel Airport Prague
    • Meet your driver upon arrival and be transported to your accommodation in Prague.
    • Depending on your flight’s arrival time, we highly recommend getting lost in the history, beauty and allure of Prague, ‘the heart of Europe”.
    • At your request, we can add a tour through the Prague Castle or around Old City, allowing you further insight into the magnificence that surrounds you at all angles.
    • And in the evening, (included) try some of the local dishes, most of which come from generations and centuries of fine tuning. We will make a reservation at one of the top restaurants in Prague for you.
Day 2

Classic Prague with a Local

    • You’ll find your local guide waiting for you at the entrance to your hotel or accommodation.
    • Hop aboard the historical Tram 41- a century’s old elegantly painted, red tram which winds past some of the best sights in Prague as you get to know your guide.
    • Learn about life in the Czech Republic from your local guide as you thread through the streets of classical Prague neighborhoods lacking tourists. Find out why your guide chose these classical Prague neighborhoods to show off to you.
    • Eat lunch in a local establishment, in which you’re sure to be the only tourist and enjoy one of the lovely and delicious dishes which Czech Republic is famous for.
    • Tasting (beer or wine). What’s a trip to the Czech Republic without indulging in a Czech Pilsner or a Moravian white wine? Stop off at a local pivovar or vinara to try some of the local drinks.
    • Highlight of the tour: drop by the house of a local citizen and spend some time learning about life during the communist regime. You’ll be able to ask any questions you might have about how it was to life, work and raise a family during this time period.
    • Drop-off at your hotel or accommodation with recommendations for dinner.
Day 3

Karlštejn Castle Day Trip

    • Get picked up at your hotel by your local guide and driver
    • It is a one-hour journey to Karlštejn, which is the perfect amount of time to learn from your guide about the history of the Czech Republic and ask any questions you’ve had so far concerning Czech life. It is also a great opportunity to see how small Czech villages look as you pass them by.
    • When you arrive in Karlštejn, you will walk the main street through town. On the way to the castle, your guide will invite you to have a delicious Czech pastry freshly prepared from the famous, local bakery.
    • At the castle you will be escorted through the grounds, learning the history of the construction of the building as well as all of the amazingly priceless jewels and items from the Holy Roman Empire were once safely guarded here at all costs.
    • Your guide will also share some ghost stories that are part of local lore concerning past inhabitants. Be prepared to hear some spooky tales!
    • Lunch follows at our favorite local restaurant which serves some of the most traditional Czech dishes with dumplings, potatoes and sauerkraut.
    • Before you leave, we suggest stopping to indulge in some yummy black soft serve ice cream.  It’s the perfect end to the day.
    • Drive further south to Český Krumlov, enjoy the lovely landscapes- rolling mountains, farmlands and small farmhouses.
    • Arrive to Český Krumlov, check in and enjoy a night wandering the narrow and twisting streets of this magical fairy tale land.
Day 4

Český Krumlov

    • We highly suggest an early morning walk through the castle (which you will tour later this day). You are allowed in the walls of the castle and the views from within, looking out are simply breathtaking in the early morning light.
    • Get picked up at your hotel by your guide.
    • Go on a walking tour of the 13th century castle that sits high above the city, seeming to have grown out of the rocks on which it stands.
    • For those who do not have a fear of heights, climb the Renaissance tower in the castle. It is worth the 162 step trip up, leaving you at 86 meters (282 feet) above the Vltava River.
    • Take some time to enjoy lunch overlooking the river and watching the rafters as they sail past, down the lazy river.
    • Return journey to Prague during which time you will stop in Pisek, a quaint Czech city with a fortress, amazing bell tower and a stone bridge older than the Charles Bridge.
Day 5

Kutna Hora

    • Get picked up at your hotel by your local guide and driver.
    • Enjoy the relaxing one-hour private drive to Kutná Hora in which your guide will explain some details of the history surrounding Czech culture.
    • Your first stop will be the eerily beautiful Bone Church, Sedlec Ossuary. Inside you’ll see how something such as bones can become beautiful artwork and leave you feeling at peace.
    • Then you will drive to the center of Kutná Hora for a walking tour with your guide. There you will pass a Romeo/Juliet-like lover’s lane; the Italian Court; a stone bridge which rivals Charles Bridge, stacked with statues; and finally enter the impressive St. Barbara Cathedral, the patron saint of miners, which took 500 years to build and displays some exquisite ceilings.
    • Take a break and enjoy lunch at a local favorite restaurant.
    • There is a chance after lunch for a stop in the Chocolate Museum for anyone needing a bit of something sweet to end the meal.
    • Return to Prague.
Day 6

Enjoy Prague to the Max!

    • If time permits, make the most of your final day by going for a stroll along the Vltava River, maybe even a short boat ride. Indulge in just one more delicious Czech pastry from the local bakery or check out a cold Pilsner at the nearest bar.
    • If you need help, check out some of the other tours we offer to make your last day unforgettable.
    • Pick up from your hotel and transportation to the airport.

My girlfriend and I took this as our first trip together and it was incredible. We'd both been a few other places in Europe and wanted to spend a bit of time in and around Prague since it has been on both our bucket lists for a while. The entire trip was really well planned and gave us a lot to see and learn about. We had no idea how many cool places there were outside of Prague and we were really glad to get to see some of them. Kutna Hora with the Bone Church was definitely a highlight and Cesky Krumlov was awesome too. Thanks for putting together a great package.
