Day 1

Welcome To Prague

    • Arrive at Václav Havel Airport Prague
    • You will be received at the airport by your chauffeur and driven to your hotel in Prague.
    • Once you’ve checked into your hotel or accommodation, don’t waste a moment.
    • If you arrive earlier in the day, you can take the tour from Old Town, over the Charles Bridge to the Castle, which is included in this package deal. Or you can save it to use another day.
    • Either way, stroll along the winding streets of Prague’s New and Old Town, each with their own charms and mysteries.
    • We offer several other daily tours which give spectacular explanations of how Prague formed and grew into the city it is today.
    • A dinner reservation will be made in your name at one of the top Czech restaurants so that you can experience true Czech cuisine.
Day 2

Classic Prague with a Local

    • Meet your local guide at the entrance to your hotel or accommodation.
    • Take a ride in style and back in time on board the historical Tram 41, an elegantly decorated and designed red carriage from a century ago. Your journey will lead you past several of Prague’s most popular and famous sights.
    • Join your local guide on an eye opening exploration of a classical Prague neighborhood and learn some little known facts about the history of this location as well as why the local guide has decided to show off this particular spot.
    • Have lunch at the favorite neighborhood restaurant of your local guide. Try something new and delicious while drinking in the history of food and beer in Czech Republic.
    • Tasting (beer or wine). What’s a trip to the Czech Republic without indulging in a Czech Pilsner or a Moravian white wine? Stop off at a local pivovar or vinara to try some of the local drinks.
    • Highlight of the tour: drop by the house of a local citizen and spend some time learning about life during the communist regime. You’ll be able to ask any questions you might have about how it was to life, work and raise a family during this time period.
    • Drop-off at your hotel or accommodation with recommendations for dinner.
    • And for culture and theater lovers, allow us to prepare a special night out for you and your travel companion. Dinner, transfers and excellent seats to enjoy world famous Czech theater.
Day 3

Karlštejn Castle Day Trip

    • Get picked up at your hotel by your local guide and driver
    • In the one-hour journey to Karlštejn you will hear from your guide about the general history of the Czech Republic and how the city of Prague came to be formed. Be sure to enjoy the small villages and towns you are passing through as well.
    • Upon arrival to Karlštejn, take a short walk with the guide through the center of town. Stop at the famous local bakery for one of their special pastries (included).
    • Arrive to the castle where you will have a guided tour, learning how and why the castle was originally created and the many fabulously expensive and valuable jewels and relics which were once housed there.
    • You will also learn of some of the local folklore which tells of ghosts that haunt the castle, spirits of previous occupants who committed some horrible crimes.
    • End the tour at our favorite restaurant in town where you can taste some of the most typical and delicious Czech lunch dishes, always with dumplings!
    • Before you leave, if you are looking for a sweet way to end the tour, we recommend stopping for some tasty black soft serve ice cream.
    • Relax on the return journey to Prague, watching through your window as small villages and farm land become the lights and city of Prague.
Day 4

Kutna Hora Day Trip

    • Get picked up at your hotel by your local guide and driver.
    • On the hour or so drive to Kutna Hora, learn about the history of this area of the Czech Republic from your guide.
    • Arrive to Sedlec Ossuary, which at first might seem a ghastly idea, but once you have experienced what a church of bones looks like and feels like, you’ll be glad you did.
    • Head into the center of Kutna Hora for a walking tour with your guide who will take you down a Romeo/Juliet lover’s lane, past the Italian Court, across a stone bridge which rivals Charles Bridge and into the impressive St. Barbara Cathedral, built by miners who were faithful and grateful to their patron saint.
    • Take a break and enjoy lunch at a local favorite restaurant.
    • If you’re in the mood for something sweet, tell you guide and swing by the Chocolate Museum for some tasty treats.
    • Head back to Prague.
    •  Your private taxi will transport you to the airport for your flight.

I thought this was the perfect balance of time in Prague and the Czech Republic. I got to spend half the time in Prague and half the time outside exploring other places. It was a much better idea than just staying in the city. I loved Kutna Hora, it was so quaint and amazingly spectacular at the same time. The St. Barbara Cathedral was so impressive and the Bone church was unlike anything I'd seen before. I thought it would be a bit grim, but just the opposite - it was stunning! The whole tour was really well planned and all of the small touches were noted and appreciated. Thank you.
